Why Tykadla?

The name of our club, Tykadla, is a combination of our names: Kateřina + Adla + You (Ty). So Tykadla consists of Kateřina, Adla, and especially you!

Tykadla is also a metaphor—imaginary feelers that we, as mothers, possess, allowing us to tune into our children, other mothers and their children, and the world around us. They make us more empathetic, tolerant, attentive, and perceptive. In English, "tykadla" translates to “antennae” or “feelers”—sensing antennae!

Sharing circles are essential in our club. Thanks to our feelers, we listen to each other, perceive one another, support, and inspire each other.
