It all started when my cousin from the production team sent me a Canva draft she was working on and asked what I thought. I appreciated the initiative—but I could see it needed a clearer direction. So I asked how much time they had and offered to take care of the visual identity for this year’s edition of Náchodská Prima sezona. And just like that, I became the festival’s graphic designer.
I took their longtime mascot, “Primáček,” and gave him a fresh new twist: bold red fill, clean white outlines—a full inversion of the usual look. Red became the dominant color throughout the whole visual identity. Think student energy, a bit of rawness, and a bit of punk. Strong typography, minimal polish, maximum expression.
I delivered the complete set of visuals—posters, brochures, social media graphics, Instagram story schedules, and all the essentials. A confident, playful identity that captured the festival’s spirit without overthinking it.
